Hi there, Geekenders! This week, Michael gets in touch with his sparkly side, and Jimmy tries to break down a wall with his face. Check out what we’ve been up to below, and let us know what you’ve been reading, watching and playing down in the comments!

I’ve started playing a little old school game called Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, through the Steam service. It’s a funky little vampire game that lets you be the vampire you want to be. If you look up the game, it was released with a few bugs as well as other things, but it is fun. I’ve also done a bit of the pen and paper role playing that the game is based off of, but that was before I knew there was a video game of Vampire.

For the last few weeks, I’ve found myself consumed with trying to progress in Persona Q for the Nintendo 3DS. The way that the game is set up, you always feel like you’re making some small amount of progress, whether that might be leveling up a party member, fusing a new Persona, or finding a new shortcut in one of the labyrinths. That’s assuming, of course, you don’t get wiped out part-way through (which has definitely never happened to me a few dozens of times). I’m getting close to what the game is telling me is the end, and although I have my doubts, I feel like I’m nearing the finish line. I’ve also been putting some time into an upcoming Nippon Ichi dungeon-crawler named The Awakened Fate Ultimatum. The sequel to The Guided Fate Paradox, so far this game has a slightly darker tone; where in GFP the main character was brought to Celestia after winning the lottery, the protagonist of AFU arrives after being stabbed through the chest. I’ll get more into this one next time.
