To qualify for the PSPgo promotion you must buy between June 1, 2010 and March 31st, 2011.  Sony has said that the available titles may change over time if they find that these games are not pushing the sales.

I am getting images in my head of the last ditch effort Microsoft used to promote the sales of the HD-DVD drive.  They started giving away 12 free movies and cut the price 50% at the end and still couldn’t move any units.  This PSP promotion seems like they are on the same drive path.  The PSP has jsut never sold as Sony expected, and the game line up has never fleshed out like the DS.  I have a PSP but only because I got it at a Dirt Mall for $1.  Even the games I have are mainly PS2 ports.

Could this just be a last ditch effort to move product before the PSP2 is unveiled at E3?  Or am I just being pessimistic?
