Sandra, our resident designer and Comic Spotlighter has created a mascot for our site, but we need your help to name her! Please reply to this post in order to make sure your entry is counted. We will be accepting names (no more than 3 per entrant, please!) starting now until Friday, November 27th at 12:00 noon EST.
The name that we choose will win a full digital color commission and print of the adorable cat girl in any pose or setting they want, as long as it’s not too inappropriate. An original character of yours is allowed to join our kitty friend. The top 2 names under the winner will get colored sketches of their choice. One or two characters only, no backgrounds, no prints included (you can ask for one for an additional fee). Good luck, I’m looking forward to hearing from you! (This was originally top 4, but we did not receive enough entrants to warrant this many prizes).
Update: The votes have been tallied and the results are in! The top 3 were a very close vote, and the top two required a runoff to make the final decision. However, in the end, there can be only one for now, and our catgirl’s new name is….
Mimi! Congratulations to JF for the name suggestion. Briana’s Miyu and Karol’s Mayumi took second and third respectively. The top three have been sent emails notifying them of their prizes. Thank you call for participating, and we hope to see you back here again!

Um, I was told by “Bellsandy” that there is a contest for the name of that little surprised cat girl she created for you. Here’s her journal: http://bellsandy.deviantart.com/journal/28298072/
and I am one of her watchers. I hope I am replying in the right place!
“Kilala” is a Japanese name meaning “One with the cats.” I thought it was fitting
Now if we are aloud to submit more than one name, my second choice would be “Miyu” which is Japanese for “Beautiful Moon.” She does have a beautiful blue-colored hair, makes me think of nighttime or the moon, you know?
I do like to pick names that have to do with the character, not some random Japanese name that means “Bamboo” or something.
Thanks for your time!
