After recently purchasing valkyria3.jp, but posting nothing, Sega has now launched another webpage that may just be related to the Valkyria Chronicles series. Code1935 does not explicitly say anything about Valkyria yet, but the silhouettes in the background certainly have the distinctive Valkyria style. The only information on the page itself is the phrase “Altaba Abilia 422″ and the note “Not to be opened till 9.16,” neither of which are written in Japanese.
The first Valkyria Chronicles took place in the year 1935; so, it could be a port of the original to PSP or it could be a story about fighting on another front. We’ll all have to wait until the 16th to find out whether this new game is Valkyria Chronicles 3, a spin-off title, or something unrelated. Valkyria Chronicles 2 just came out yesterday here in North America; so, there’s plenty of missions to play through while we wait.
