After some rough financial reporting for Nippon Ichi Software, they may have found something to take the edge off. NIS America has announced that along with video game publishing, they will be moving into anime publishing starting this summer. They have licensed four titles for release in North America, all with subtitles only. Toradora!, Persona -Trinity Soul-, Pandora Hearts and Our Home’s Fox Deity (Wagaya no Oinari-sama) DVDs will all be hitting shelves this year, but no exact release dates have been set. According to NIS America’s press release, the anime will also be available with collectors items, like many of their video game releases.
Hopefully, we will be able to get our hands on review copies and let you know how everything looks.
