I know I'd be so intent on watching the program itself and just reading the English to know what's happening that I wouldn't learn the other language or it would take an extremely long time. I'm a very visual person anyway, so I need to see words in order to really remember (and of course the spoken language I'd be hearing too would help me to know how those words are supposed to sound)!
