Studio Ghibli’s latest release, Ponyo, had its North American theatrical release in August, and come March 2nd, it will be available for home viewing. Disney/Buena Vista will be releasing both a DVD and Blu-ray version of Hayao Miyazaki’s latest title. The discs will offer both Japanese and English voice actors. As with most all Disney dubs of Ghibli films, they offer a star-studded voice cast including Liam Neeson, Cate Blanchette, Tina Fey and Lily Tomlin.

The story centers around Ponyo, a young fish-girl who swims away during a family outing so that she can see more of the world, and the young boy Sousuke who finds her beached near his village. Ponyo recieved 5 awards at the Tokyo Anime Awards and Animation of the Year and Outstanding Music Achievement for 2009 at the Japan Academy awards. The MSRP on the DVD release is $29.99 and the Blu-ray is $39.99
