As of April 15th the LIVE service will be discontinued for all original Xbox games. The game most affected by this is Halo 2 which still has a large player base. Well as a thank you and sorry for turning off our servers Microsoft is sending out some goodies to the most avid players.
If your one of the most active players you’ll be receiving the email pictured at the bottom of the post.
SO they will give you:
- 3-months of Gold membership for your Xbox360 Games
- 400 MS points
- A code to allow you to play the Halo:Reach Beta without having to purchase Halo:ODST
Not to bad of a deal. No word on whether other games will get the same consideration.
