I guess the recent Dashboard update did more than wipe out memory Units. It looks like it was also used to determine if you have a mod chip installed. Those detected as modders had their Xbox Live accounts given a permanent ban.
Of course the system will be 100% successful in identifying modders. LMAO.
The Units are stillfunctional but are now unable to connect to Live. Still wont stop Piracy. I predict a week before a workaround is developed. Then you just have to start a new Live account.
