Hotel Ohnoya’s Roman style bath covers an area of 825 m2 and can accommodate up to 300 people at one time. It has other bathing facilities including showers, utaseyu (showers consisting of solid streams of water), sauna, cold water bath, spring drinking water fountains, etc. In addition, separate men’s and women’s tenbou rotenburo (outdoor hot spring baths with views) and a swimming pool (summer only) are located on the roof of the hotel. Most of the guest rooms provide views of Sagami Bay and the Manazuru and Miura peninsulas, and on a ckear day, guests can see as far as the Bousou Peninsula.
So goes the official listing for the hotel. What they forgot to tell us westerners is that you can come here to have a romantic weekend with your virtual girlfriend from Love Plus. Love Plus is a dating sim developed and published by Konami last September for the Nintendo DS (Japan Only).

The hotel offers “augmented reality” (AR) software points where if you have a compatible device, like an iPhone, you can take pictures of yourself and the software will add the girl of your choice to the picture. This include augmented beds so they can share a bed together. But it’s not just the hotel. The whole town is in on it. The City of Atami (60 miles) southwest of Tokyo has 13 romantic locations which can be overlaid with images of Rinko, Manaka and Nene, who have all swapped their usual sailor-style school uniforms for casual summer wear. Local shops are trying heir best to separate these ronery (so ronery!) men from their money by offering Love Plus-themed souvenirs, steamed buns, even fish sausages. LOL…..So ronery TT_TT
