Square Enix finally announced what fans have been anticipating: a 10th anniversary collector’s edition for Kingdom Hearts 3D. The game will come packaged in a Kingdom Hearts-themed magnetic case along with a protective cover for your 3DS, twelve art cards, and five AR cards to unlock rare Dream Eaters. (The normal preorder bonus will only include three AR cards.) See the picture below for a look at the goodies.
The “Mark of Mastery” edition for Kingdom Hearts 3D will be available for $54.99. For once, I’m actually happy that we didn’t get the same edition that came out in Japan, which had a significantly higher retail price. It came with copies of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded, which could easily be purchased for a lot cheaper at this point.
This is the first collector’s edition we’ve seen in North America for this series. Are you planning to pick this up on July 31st? Share your thoughts in the comments!
