First released September 7, 2007 in Europe, (March 25, 2008 in America), Obscure: The Aftermath is the sequel to Obscure, a survival horror game. I picked this up from the $10 and less bin at Gamestop. What I wanted: A two player game for my wife and I to play. What I got: A camera that was not told there would be two people playing and dialogue so poorly written and acted that I long for House of the Dead. Then I could at least play a fun game while making fun of the dialogue.

The camera only centers on one character at a time. Which one of you it picks seems completely random. And that’s not including the areas were the camera decides to circle around you……continuously……till I get dizzy.

Watch this for five minutes. You'll get the same effect and much more enjoyment.

Oh.. and save points. I really dislike save points. With the size of the hard drives and flash memory cards there is no reason any game needs a save point any more. Let alone the kind of save point that can only be used once. That by itself could get me to get rid of a game. I do not play games around the programers schedule. I want to save when i want. I do not want to replay the same hour of game over and over again because the programer wanted to challenge me.

fuck you u fuckin fuck 350 Keep It or Trade It? Obscure:The Aftermath (Wii)

And I can’t believe that they have a THIRD instalment planned because the “fans asked for it.” What retarded monkey spawn of Satan is clamouring for another one?

My final word of advice. Don’t keep, don’t trade it, don’t even bother buying it. Old AOL cd’s have more value than this game.

aol better than obscure Keep It or Trade It? Obscure:The Aftermath (Wii)

Simply owning an AOL cd is more enjoyable than playing Obscure: The Aftermath

There will be no star ratings for you, Obscure, nor your programers. Stars are for people with talent.

Your excerpt alone had me laughing. The full brunt of the review almost made me fall off the couch.

“There will be no star ratings for you, Obscure, nor your programers. Stars are for people with talent.” That was pure genius. 10/10, Would read again.
