Lose/Lose is the digital version of the BME Pain Olympics. I wont bother describing the game just watch the vid. But the reason this game is Fucked Up is that all of the Aliens are generated from real files on your computer so when you destroy them you actually delete the file they were made from. The game does not tell you which file was deleted either. The only clue they give you is the file extension appears in the resulting explosion.

Seeing .jpg, not so bad. Seeing .dll is a little worrying. Then you see .EM$. What the hell was that? Was that important. This is why I compare it to the BME. You have to be a complete masochist to play this game. You are destroying your OS not just your personal files.

So How brave are you? Will you be a complete chicken about it like myself? Or will you go for the High Score.

Current High Score as of Writing this post: 4912 aliens by arvernus

This game has intrigued me since the first time I saw it. I wouldn’t play it on my computer unless I have a fresh backup, and I was ready to install a new copy of my OS anyway. Playing in your computer, though…heh heh heh…

Imagine the havoc it would cause if you loaded it on a work computer. Especially with network access.
