Last week, the copyright protection on a set of 10 Rorschach blots became public domain. After some debate, Wikipedia decided to post the 10 images. The concern with disclosing the images to the public is that it allows people to pre-form responses to them. Now, if someone who has seen the images is shown them during a psychological evaluation, they will have preconceived notions about what is to be seen in them. I can appreciate Wikipedia’s concern about contributing to this problem, but I applaud them for deciding to display the pictures.
The inkblot tests were initially designed to provide insight into the subject’s method of perception as well as some intrinsic personality and psychological details. The reliability of the test has been contested and due to the nature of the test, it can be quite easy to induce bias in the subject through words, actions and surroundings before and during testing.
Just for fun, we passed around the inkblots and thought we’d post some responses below. Feel free to tell us how crazy you are in the comments, we’d love to see what you see, too.

1. Some evil wizard dude that’s about to cast some bad-ass spell. His wings are out, too, so you know that means shit’s going down.
2. Pelvic bone.
3. 2 Tribal chicks holding pots. But it somehow reminds me of Prince’s “When Doves Cry” video. Dunno why. But now that song’s stuck in your head, isn’t it?
4. I see chicken, too. But, to go along with the 80′s music videos, it reminds me of the “Sledgehammer” video.
5. Your mom . . . uh, wait, I mean a bat.
6. A bottom view of Falcor. You can even see his testicles. “It’s a boy!”.
7. Like someone spilled ink on a piece of paper. Seriously, I don’t see shit.
8. 2 small mammals climbing up the side of something. Kind of like a logo for some crappy polo shirt or something.
9. Looks like the stupid uber-feminine flowery smoke stuff that they’d show on a TV commercial right before showing a bottle of perfume with some chick in the background saying the brand in some faux-seductive tone, like “Skanque” or something.
10. A kid’s drawing of the “Little Mermaid” scene where Sebastian the Crab sings “Under the Sea”. See, now that song’s in your head, too. Haha.

@KK
I asked our third contributor if I could post it anonymously, and they said yes. I’m not sure whether I can disclose their identity to the greater populous. If you’re alright with me disclosing which are ours, I’ll do so at the bottom. It’s more fun to see if they can match the answers with the writer.
