Well on the one hand a single login is nice and convenient. On the other, the next time Sony is hacked it will compromise more services at once. I hope they've beefed up their security.

Sure people are going to buy the game now, and it may go on to become a hit. But at the end of the day, the guys who developed the game are gonna feel a bit let down don't you think? I mean for the record , if I was on the team, I would be pretty pissed, coz all my hard work was practically being sold using the name and tag of another popular game. So ya this may be a very clever marketing move, but I believe if the game really is good, Capcom should have had undertaken a thorough marketing campaign to promote the game on its own, rather than handing it out to gamers with an RE 6 demo. The demo kinda overshadows the game itself.
What you said about Crackdown is definitely true and the Halo 3 beta definitely helped it achieve the attention it deserved. Let's see if Dragon's Dogma does the same.

I don't necessarily see it as cheap. This isn't really an uncommon practice anymore--I think back to Crackdown, which probably would have flown way under the radar but became a cult hit of sorts thanks to the Halo 3 beta being attached. I see it as a clever way to create attention for a title that many gamers had never heard of before. So many people are going to buy Dragon's Dogma now, and even if they buy it primarily for the RE6 demo, that's still more people buying Dragon's Dogma than there would have been before. And I don't know many people who would buy a $60 game for a demo and not at least try the actual game they purchased.

Its comes across as a bit cheap. Although, given that Dragon's Dogma itself MAY be a good game, but this particular marketing scheme demeans its worth and its credibility to make it on its own.
If only Capcom had done it the other way around, included Dogma's demo with a bigger and established game, perhaps it would have garnered the necessary attention among the gamers!

Yup. As for the 123HD port, other than iOS and an upcoming Android port, no other platforms, digital or physical, have been mentioned. I would kill for a DS/3DS port.
