Avatar: The Last Airbender spinoff set for 2011

Nickelodeon has announced that a spinoff of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” is in the works. Nickelodeon says the the new animated TV series will star a female Avatar named Korra.

Hetalia English Casting Announcement

FUNimation has begun releasing the cast list for the English version of Hetalia – Axis Powers. The anime centers around the World War I and II era and each country is given a character to represent them.

New Nozomi Entertainment Licenses

Two licenses were announced at Anime Expo by Nozomi Entertainment for release in 2011. One is new to North America (So-Ra-No-Wo-To) while the other is a re-license from the now bankrupt Central Park Media (Revolutionary Girl Utena).
