Gearbox has released a beefy three minute trailer for Borderlands 2, the upcoming FPS-RPG sequel to 2009′s co-op crazy title. Four new protagonists are introduced, the plot is teased, and the release date is revealed: September 18th and 21st in the US and everywhere else, respectively. The first Borderlands was pretty well received, lauded for its excellent co-op and multitude of randomly generated weapons (they aren’t kidding about the bazillions part!). Hopefully Borderlands 2 succeeds in keeping the good and polishing the weak; we’ll see this September. Oh, and for haters and lovers alike: Claptrap is confirmed.
