Nozomi Entertainment is reporting that, due to “manufacturing delays,” they have been forced to push back the release date of the third season of Aria. Originally slated for a March 2nd release, Aria: The Origination and the OVA Arietta will be hitting shelves on March 16th. Regarding the delay, Right Stuf President and C.E.O. Shawne Kleckner said, “We know Aria fans have been waiting patiently for the series’ concluding OVA and third season, and we look forward to bringing it to you, albeit slightly later than we originally intended.”
The Aria: The Origination DVD set contains thirteen television episodes, an additional bonus episode and the the OVA Arietta. All three seasons of the Aria anime are based on Kozue Amano’s manga Aria and its prequel Aqua, available in English from Tokyopop.
