A few weeks ago, Adult Swim announced that they will be showing three new anime series. Cartoon Network has now confirmed that the “new anime” that will be showing starting at midnight on February 13 is in fact Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The remake of Fullmetal Alchemist is set for 26 episodes that will air weekly during Cartoon Network’s late night programming block. This second adaptation of the Hiromu Arakawa manga will follow the storyline from the graphic novels more closely than the original and adds the character of Isaac McDougal. Most of the English voice cast is the same as the original Fullmetal Alchemist’s dub with the Alphonse Elric and Scar being voiced by Maxey Whitehead and J Michael Tatum respectively.
