Square Enix has filed for a trademark on “4 Heroes of Light” at the US Patent and Trademark Office. While they have not made an official announcement about brining the game over yet, the title is oddly similar to the translation of Hikari no 4 Senshi: Final Fantasy Gaiden.
Assuming that’s correct, the upcoming release is a spinoff of the original Final Fantasy for the Nintendo. Hikari no 4 Senshi is a traditional, turn-based Japanese RPG for the Nintendo DS. If you remember the big Square Enix countdown last June, this was the title they announced in Japan. Hopefully, Square Enix will have more information about the North American release soon.
