Higashi no Eden is a new anime that started airing in Japan in April 2009. It is an original series from Production I.G. and is not related to the manga that shares its name. It has been licensed by FUNimation Entertainment for distribution in North America. Funimation has suggested a 2010 release for the series, but no firm dates have been announced.
PSPHyper has found two new videos from Valkyria Chronicles 2 website. The sequel to Sega’s under-advertised (and thus under-selling) cult hit will be on the PSP, but even with the decreased processing power, it looks like the designers were able to do a great job re-creating the art styles and gameplay from the original.
Seven Seas Entertainment has joined the movement towards e-books. They have begun offering 3 of their Original English Language manga properties through Amazon’s Kindle reader.
