VIZ Media Will Stream InuYasha: The Final Act Simultaneously with Japanese Airing

Wii gets a price cut. Nintendo Still makes money on the sale.

So Nintendo will start selling the Wii at $199 for North America starting November 27th. The amazing thing is not that Nintendo finally is giving folks a price cut. It’s that they still make money on the system sales. The “standard” thing to do is to sell your system as a loss leader and make up the money in game license fees. Sony Japan Offers Quite A Starting Lineup For PSP Manga Service

Sony Japan has finally begun to divulge some details about their PSP/PSN manga distribution service. According to the AnimeNewsNetwork article, 11 major publishers and roughly 100 titles are signed on for digital distribution via the PlayStation Network starting in December.

MCV, a UK trade magazine, has obtained a leaked document that indicated the big reason Sony has been removing backwards compatability from it’s PlayStation 3 systems: the entire PS2 catalog could eventually be coming to the PlayStation Network.
