Lunar Series to Make a PSP Appearance

The guys over at RPGamer announced that according the latest issue of Famitsu, Japan will be looking forward to a new Lunar game for the PSP. They also posted a picture from the magazine. It looks like it is a remake of Silver Star Story, but it is unknown right now whether they will draw on the Sega Saturn or Playstation versions for this remake.

K-On! Review: Episodes 1-5

I’ll admit, I’ve been slacking in the review department, and I’m here to make amends. Thanks to a binging session last night, I’m here to talk a little about the first 5 episodes of K-On! The show is produced by Kyoto Animation (Haruhi, Lucky Star, Clannad, Air, etc.), a company that most people seem to either love or hate. This season’s production seems to be bringing more of the same around the internet. Either you love this moe-filled depiction of four high school girls in a band or you want to kill me for using the word moe in yet another post.

Surprise! ISPs Raise Prices and Add Caps while Their Costs Go Down

Over at Ars Technica, Nate Anderson put together a nice summary of some major broadband ISPs’ income and expense margins. The result? We here in the United States continues to get hosed when it comes to internet compared to most other first world nations. It comes down to roughly a 10% increase in income with a 10% decrease in cost for these major ISPs as compared to the first quarter of 2008.

Katawa Shoujo Visual Novel Demo Review

4 Leaf Studios has released the first act of the Katawa Shoujo visual novel. Katawa Shoujo was made using the Ren’Py engine, and is released under the Creative Commons license. The demo covers Act 1, the release date for the completed game has not yet been announced.
